PACT - Helping Reduce Recidivism

  The issue
There are more than 7,500 men, women and juveniles in the Philadelphia Prison System. Everyday, 100 people are released without a place to call home, money, transportation and little hope of becoming gainfully employed. As a result of these problems, statistics say 50-70% of these people will return back to prison.
  About us
Philadelphia Alive Center for Transformation is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization designed to assist Philadelphia Prison System prisoners and ex-offenders in their efforts to become better citizens of Philadelphia.

We have more than 40 years experience working in the Philadelphia Prison System. The word "pact" means a solemn agreement or covenant. PACT was born out our desire to make a covenant with all clients to ensure their individual success upon returning home.

OUR PACT is “to transform prisoners into people of purpose!” "Our proven approach to solving the current crisis is working, and we are determined now more than ever to making an impact! "
